Intimate, artist-led weekends shaped by making, nature and gathering around the table.

A pause with purpose
Komati is a series of creative retreats held close to the wild rhythm of the Lowveld. We bring artists and curious people together for a weekend of guided making, generous meals and the kind of conversation that happens when nobody is rushing home.
The Komati rhythm
Learn directly from working artists in tactile, small-group sessions.
Share long-table meals, stories, fireside evenings and a proper Lowveld braai.
Sleep in, step outside, look up. There is room in the programme to simply be.
